A new system is forming for the 21st Century, including new stories, full of harmony, love and collective care. As someone who grew up close to Philadelphia surrounded by history, personality, character and respect for the sister/brotherhood of love. We are heartened to shine a light on Abbott Elementary, set in Philadelphia, creator Quinta Brunson has brought us style, heart and comedic skill into the heart of the public school system, bringing to the light (with humor) the struggles of optimism in the face of underfunding for communities. If you have the opportunity to donate, to look into, to support PHILLY YEAH, a Youth Empowerment For Advancement Hangout (YEAH) Is a black-led, community-based nonprofit working with teens And young adults ages 15 To 24 who have been impacted by violence. Addressing structural barriers that often lead to violence. The necessary work to shift our systems begins with you. Let's cultivate the conditions for a new day. May we do better.

Quinta Brunson is doing the work to uplift the community she is creating within. Consider where you can do the necessary work in your neighborhood.
